YES Profile
Young Entrepreneur School (YES)was established in the year 2004 on the 15th of August in Madurai by the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TN Chamber) with the aim of training young people to successfully navigate the challenges and pitfalls associated with entrepreneurship. This progressive idea was initiated during the Trade Delegation of TN Chamber to South Africa. Since then, YES has evolved and grown and has created a great impact on the business community
YES was inaugurated by Dr. Justice AR. Lakshmanan, former Supreme Court Judge. In the presence of the then President of TN Chamber Mr.Rathnivelu. At the first meeting, His Excellency, the President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam visited the Chamber and interacted with the members of YES as well as the members of the TN Chamber, on the 27th of August, 2004. This coincided with the commemoration of the TN Chamber’s 80th anniversary.
Since its inception, YES has grown multi-fold under the able leadership of its Chairman Mr. V. Neethi Mohan. The TN Chamber headed by the President Dr.N.Jegatheesan extends its unconditional support to YES.
Currently, YES has its presence in 30 chapters throughout Tamil Nadu, boasting a membership of over 3,700+ entrepreneurs.
